Under this scheme you will receive information from your allocated Victim Advocate about the prisoner’s release date; any eligibility for temporary release; and, in the event the defendant is returned to prison, the date of return. You may also be informed if relevant, of the defendant’s date of death (if they die in prison); their transfer out of Jersey (should they be sent elsewhere to serve their sentence); and their escape from prison if one occurs.
