We will update you with the outcome of the conviction and what the sentence means. If you have any questions about the sentencing, you can ask us or we can ask the Law Officer’s Department to give you more information. We will also tell you if an application is made to appeal the sentencing, giving you any information about the hearing but also the outcome. If the defendant has been sentencing to imprisonment we will speak to you about joining the Victim Notification Scheme.
